Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American designer and author who has won numerous awards for her works. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. The actress has won praise for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. She started as a photography assistant and then turned to acting and modeling. Her first two movies, she was recognized and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw was a worldwide superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. Within just three short films she was the highest-rated female box-office star worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. Also, she appeared in The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, along with other films. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
